An early "Tategama" of Onoda Cement Corporation (registered as important cultural property)


The first plant in Japan to manufacture Portland Cement which was operated by the government in 1883. Later was named as Fukagawa Plant of Nihon Cement.


Chichibu Cement's No. 2 Plant was nominated as architectural heritage by DOCOMOMO20 JAPAN*.
