Cement & Concrete Research Laboratory

The Cement & Concrete Research Laboratory conducts R&D covering everything from cement design and manufacturing to concrete and ground improvement products. It also develops underlying technologies related to carbon neutrality in collaboration with the GX Department.

New Technology Research Laboratory

The New Technology Research Laboratory develops new materials and technologies in the fields of concrete and construction materials. It also conducts research related to functional materials, biodiversity conservation, and the environment issues.

Research & Development Department

The Research & Development Department is responsible for managing Taiheiyo Cement’s R&D function and strengthening its organizational structure to help streamline R&D activities. It also drives IP strategy in line with the research and development policy of the Company.
