The two principles I value most as a leader are a people-centered management approach and a commitment to continuous growth. A company’s competitiveness is not driven by facilities and technology alone. It is the work of each employee that enables us to navigate change and create new value. That is why I believe management’s most important responsibility is to provide an environment where people can work with confidence, realize their full potential, and continue to grow.
The foundation of all of this is safety.
Safety takes precedence over everything else. It is a value that must come before profits, productivity, or delivery schedules, and it is the starting point of all our business activities. Nothing is more important than ensuring that every employee can stay healthy and energized, and return safely home to their families each day. Zero accidents is not simply a target; it is a shared value and an integral part of our corporate culture. We will continue to foster a strong safety mindset and safe practices throughout the organization, while remaining steadfast in creating a workplace where everyone can work with peace of mind.

I have set an ambitious goal for our Group: to become a leading force in the global cement industry by 2050. To achieve this vision, our Group companies in Japan and abroad will work together as one, pursuing sustainable growth on a global scale by harnessing the collective strength embodied in the philosophy: “be a mountain range, not a single mountain.”
Precisely because we live in an era of rapid change, we will remain firmly grounded while continuing to embrace the challenges of the future.
