Immobilization treatment using actual contaminated soil
Here are some results from immobilization treatment tests conducted using DENITE on a variety of contaminated soils.

Soil (3) Arsenic As 150 0.2 <0.002 0.01 or less 10.3

Soil (7) Lead Pb 100 1.6 *** <0.01 0.01 or less 10.6
Soil (8) Arsenic As 100 7.29 *** 0.01 0.01 or less 10.3
* The amount of DENITE added will differ according to a variety of factors, including the state of contamination (types of contaminants and their concentrations) and the methods used.
** The leaching test method conforms to Ministry of Environment Notification No. 18 (March 6, 2003).
*** Soil contaminated at concentrations exceeding the secondary leaching standard (0.3mg/ℓ or less) designated by the Soil Contamination Countermeasures Act.

Immobilization effect under acidic/alkaline conditions
To assess the immobilization stability of DENITE-treated soil against external factors, such as acid and alkaline conditions, we conducted tests using a relative assessment method* for the stability of the pH change for soil treated to immobilize heavy metals at the Geo-Environmental Protection Center.

We were able to determine that DENITE demonstrated a stable immobilization effect even under acid and alkaline conditions, with no marked difference in leaching amount seen by test method.
