Desalting Incineration bottom ash
Since the concentration of chlorine in municipal waste Incineration bottom ash has been relatively low, Incineration bottom ash has not been included in desalination processing. However, with the growing use of Incineration bottom ash as raw materials the processed amount of ash has rapidly risen, and the elimination of chlorine has become an essential element for utilizing as cement raw material. Installation of this desalination system makes more utilization of ash as cement raw material possible.Salient features of the Incineration bottom ash washing process
We have developed a system with three salient features for efficiently removing chlorine from Incineration bottom ash.

Effect : higher efficiency desalination and wastewater reduction

Compared to desalination processing by simply mixing with water, the new system greatly reduces the amount of wastewater produced, and by Decomposition and solubilizing of hard-soluble chlorine. Desalination efficiency is greatly improved. This makes equipment downsizing and chlorine removal efficiency improvement possible.
