Taiheiyo Cement Quality Predictive System (TQPS®)

TQPS® utilizes an information processing method called a neural network*3 to create models that provide optimal precision. As indicated below, it achieves this by analyzing the relationship between various analytical values for cement (characteristics), as well as production operating conditions (manufacturing process data) and quality characteristics (properties).
This enables the efficient management of aspects such as the desired values for various characters and production operating conditions to achieve the prescribed quality. It also makes it possible to predict values for strength tests and the like that usually take some time, without waiting for material to age.

*3, A mathematical model based on the information transmission mechanism of the central nervous system. It is being applied in a variety of fields, such as pattern recognition.

Targets for TQPS® Analysis

An overview of this system is shown below. As the illustration shows, the characteristics of cement directly describes its properties. By adding the manufacturing process conditions for producing this characteristics as a target for analysis, it should ultimately be possible to apply this to production guidelines as feedback.
