Analysis

The three acceptance conditions for using soil as raw material for cement are as follows:

1. The target soil must contain components that can be used as raw material for cement.
2. The quality of the target soil must not be an impediment to the cement manufacturing process.
3. The minor components of the target soil must not negatively impact the quality of the cement.
The following analyses and quality assessments are required to determine whether the target soil is suitable for use as raw material for cement.

Acceptable soil

Soil quality (guideline)
? Clumps must be 100mm or less in diameter and soil must not contain foreign objects.
? Water content must be low (low enough to transport; Guideline: 30% or less)
? Viscosity must be low (low enough not to obstruct equipment at plants).

Acceptance standards

Since the target soil will be used as raw material for cement, we evaluate it by its content rather than its leaching.

・SiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3, CaO, etc.
Heavy metals, etc.
Chlorine
Oil content
Constituents
The decision to accept soil differs depending on the type of constituents, acceptance time/quantity, and amount removed from work sites per day. Please contact us for more information.
