Soil modification process
| With an annual total capacity of a million tons, our distribution center is busy modifying soil so that it has the optimal properties for use as raw material for cement. Most of the soil removed from work sites has the water content of silt-like material, which means that it comes in fine clumps. It also has a high viscosity, which results in even larger clumps forming during transport. This can often cause clogs when it adheres to equipment. There are also instances where it contains foreign objects that are detrimental to plant equipment. To prevent this from happening, we remove foreign objects before modifying the soil, thereby ensuring a smooth acceptance process. |
