Silica Fume Premixed Cement (SFPC®)
for use with ultra-high strength concrete
We have developed
"Silica Fume Premixed Cement (SFPC®)",
a high strength cement based material
with optimized flow and strength.
This is done by combining our
low heat cement production technologies,
silica fume application technologies,
and powder blending technologies.
(Launched July 2006)
SFPC® can be used to easily fabricate ultra-high strength concrete with a design strength (=Fc) of 80 to 120N/mm2. Techniques which combine high quality aggregate with special curing methods can be used to produce concrete with strengths of 130N/mm2 or more.
Features of SFPC® Concrete
Even with low water-cement ratios, this cement offers high flow levels and retention of flow over time.
In low water-cement ratio mixes, this technology produces high levels of strength not only with standard curing (with 20°C water), but also in structures with elevated temperature histories due to the heat produced by cement hydration.
Low water-cement ratios and hardening structure densification produce high levels of durability.
