Application case

Applications of TCDS® is described in the following case.
A composite cement design that corresponds to EN standards-CEM V/A with a strength class of “32.5N”, will have the following quantities. Clinker: 40-64%, blast furnace slag (BFS): 18-30%, fly ash (FA): 18-30%, and a 28 days strength: 32.5-52.5N/mm2. Since the conditions of this cement leads to a large amount of results, the following constraints were applied to the parameters and then organized in the following table.

Results

The following table displays parts of the obtained results. The data reveals that even with an Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) base, the required specifications can be satisfied with an OPC quantity of 40%, and the strength can be controlled with fly ash fineness.

This system is capable of obtaining a quantitative relationship between the cement mix and characteristic values, as long as the cement mix uses blast furnace slag, fly ash, and limestone powder. The design of the composite cement mix can be formulated to satisfy the required specifications using TCDS®.
