When cleaning, pay attention to the following points to avoid washing away or killing the beneficial bacteria that has settled on the filtering media, as this will dramatically lower its performance.
1.Wash with live water from the aquarium. 2.Do not wash too frequently, and take care to clean as gently as you can with a rinsing motion.

If the water quality (pH value, etc.) worsens after long-term use, we recommend that you replace Power House filtering media. |

The nitrification activity of the filtering media will vary depending on how you wash it and the number of times you do so.
